Slipping into the Coma

14 movies down and it's all becoming a blur...
My life for the past 10 days has consisted of:

So, I'm just going to spit out some titles in no particular order (numbered purely for the sake of keeping count)... and hope that I don't forget anything:

15. Spartacus - Blood and Sand (2010 - TV series)
OMG!!! More hot guys. Boobs. Sex. Fighting. Sweatiness. Muscles. Slaves (you'll have to watch it to see the hotness in that word). Droool Droool Drool. All up so far I've watched 8 episodes of Spartacus for the mission, making it count for 16, 17, and 18.

19. The IT Crowd - Season One (2006 - TV series)
Watched with some awesome friends this is another fav of mine. I can't go past some good ol' British humour. Plus there were techies present so it was even funnier. We watched all of season one which is 6 episodes and they're about half hour each, so I'll only count that as one movie.

20. 13 (2010)
Creepy and odd. But good for some background noise if you know what I mean. I just wanted to make this one number 20 so it was strange to read.

21. The Wizard of Oz (1939)
That's right I did! And I sang along to every word of it!   Oh I could tell you why, the ocean's near the shore.   I could think of things I never thunk before. And then I'd sit, and think some more...

22. Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides (2011)
Another one in a set of movies I have never bothered watching. But it was tolerable. And I was all for the mermaids! I've never particularly enjoyed seeing Johnny Depp waltz around like he has an acquired brain injury. But it was ok. I might just watch the rest of them one of these days.

23. Uptown Girls (2003)
On because it came on TV while I was blogging about watching movies. Actually not as stupid as it seemed in the beginning. I mean I kinda liked Brittany Murphy since Clueless. And by since I mean that was all I saw her in. And Dakota Fanning... what a cutie. Turns out it was less Disney than expected and had a half decent ending.

24. Waiting (2005)
Still waiting to really understand what it's about. Watching as I type. I don't think this would be the kind of thing I would choose to watch of my own accord, but the telly is on, and this is a movie.

25. We Bought A Zoo (2011)
Went to the movies with some friends and my Mummy. What a beautiful movie. It begins with Matt Damon as a single dad. As if I didn't already wanna marry him. Add to that a heaps cute kid, some animals, and Scarlett Johansson being awesomely 'real person' hot (not the usual pimped up bullshit). A near tear and a bit of a laugh.

Woohoo! 1/4 of the way there!!

  1. I'm glad to see you are blogging again Miss Darby. And I'm impressed by how productive you make sitting on a couch for a week and watching twenty-five movies sound. I can recommend Watchmen (2009) as one to include somewhere in the seventy-five remaining before you reach your centurion goal. The opening in particular I found to be unforgettable.
